Kamel Hothi, Asian Markets Director of Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, has won an award for her contribution to the Asian community. Kamel won the 'Leadership in Diversity' gong at the recent 2008 Asian Who's Who Awards, the biggest celebration of Asian success and achievement ever seen in Britain.
Kamel who has 29 years’ experience working within the Asian sector, is responsible for introducing an 'Asian strategy' across Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets. Her exstensive work with the Asian community has lead to Lloyds TSB’s sponsorship of the Jewel Awards, a Lloyds TSB annual awards ceremoney, and the Asian Women of Achievement Awards.
Kamel is also involved with the Lloyds TSB Ethnic Minority Network, since 1998 the network has helped boost ethnic minority employees by 87% and recruitment into management positions by 242%.
