The 14th Annual International Financing Review (IFR) Awards Dinner took place on the 12th January 2009 at Grosvenor House, London. These were hosted by HRH Princess Anne, Lord Coe and Omid Djalili and supported Save The Children Fund.
Over 1,000 of the world’s most senior investment bankers gathered to celebrate achievement in the investment banking industry during what had proven to be an extremely challenging year.
Lloyds TSB were pleased to be announced winner of the ‘Senior Financial Bond of the Year’ award for the £400m 10-year senior bond issued in October.

Mark Grant, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets at Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets was delighted with the award: ‘this is a significant accolade given prevalent market conditions and a testament to the success of both Group Corporate Treasury and the Financial Institutions team in Debt Capital Markets.’
