Double success at EuroWeek awards

Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets has won the ‘Best Arranger of UK Loans’ at the 6th annual EuroWeek Syndicated Loans and Leveraged Finance awards, held on Tuesday 3 February at London’s Guildhall.
The awards were determined by a poll of banks, investors and borrowers undertaken by EuroWeek in November and December last year. This is the first time the Bank has won this award and it’s an outstanding achievement in a time of market and financial uncertainty.
Ian Fitzgerald, Managing Director, Head of Loan Syndicate, said:
“We have won this award not only because of our UK Corporate and Financial Institutions franchise but also because of the progress made in structured debt and leveraged finance. I am very proud of our efforts and am confident, despite the current difficult market conditions and uncertainties that we will continue to grow and build on our many recent successes.”
Mark Grant, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, added:
“Winning this award is excellent news and yet further proof of the development in Lloyds TSB loans market business. This is a real testament to the progress we have made in moving ourselves to lead status on deals and to team work which has been key to impressing our customers. Well done to everyone involved.”
