Lloyds TSB Southern Jewel Awards set to shine on Saturday
This coming Saturday will see the arrival of the final instalment of this year’s Lloyds TSB Jewel Awards in London; bringing a taste of the East to the Park Lane Hilton. As the awards unfold, they will include dance, comedy and drama. We have already lent several million on the back of the first two events this year rewarding the hard work of the front line teams who attended.
The awards are flagship events for the national calendar for Asian marketing and business development across W&IB. They form part of a stepped approach which has been tried and tested and has proven to be successful in helping us improve our market share in the Asian community.
In 2008 we hope to replicate this framework across other ethnic minority communities. In preparation for this, the awards have been renamed The Lloyds TSB Jewel Awards and on Saturday we are proud to invite over 15 Japanese clients.
The Southern awards nominations have once again been exceedingly popular with 6200 nominations for this heat alone. Says Diana Brightmore-Armour, CEO Corporate Banking, “These awards are admired and aspired to in the Asian community and provide a platform for Lloyds TSB to continue to illustrate our passion, commitment, and hunger to work with Asian businesses. I am proud of our sponsorship and very much looking forward to the event.”
