Loan Syndicate structures, advises, prices, executes and distributes multi-lender credit facilities. We have access to a deep and geographically diverse investor base, which is fundamental in arranging appropriate funding solutions.
Recent strategic hires have enhanced our market expertise, extended our sector coverage and further strengthened our consistently high levels of service. We are consistently appointed as Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner and Facility Agent for multi-bank transactions. This is the reason we are a top three bank in UK Corporate Syndicated Loan Transactions’ League Tables.
The Loan Syndicate department has three distinct Syndicate teams who structure, arrange and underwrite syndicated loan facilities for the following sectors:
Corporate Syndicate and Financial Institutions
The team provides flexible funding solutions - tailored to our substantial domestic corporate client base as well as borrowers introduced through its international offices, including banks and insurance companies. Our focus on the UK mid-corporate market has resulted in retaining the top position in the mid-market league tables.
Structured Debt Syndicate
Supports a wide number of sectors, including Project Finance (covering both Infrastructure and Energy & Utilities sectors), Hybrid Transactions, Shipping and Property Finance.
Leveraged Loan Syndicate
Works primarily with private equity houses, although non-sponsor backed transactions are also undertaken. Deals cover a wide range of sectors and are syndicated to banks and our wide ranging institutional investor base. Lloyds TSB’s Leveraged Finance team won the Debt Provider of the Year at the Private Equity Awards 2007, as voted for by market leading professionals.
