Travel Inconvenience Cover
Our Corporate Charge cards and GPC Travel and Subsistence cards provide cardholders that are travelling abroad for business with travel inconvenience cover and emergency medical and legal referral services.
Cover is free of charge when the full cost of business travel has been purchased on your Charge card. Cover is extended to the cardholder and up to three colleagues travelling together.

Benefits and features
Travel inconvenience cover
- Any baggage delayed more than four hours, outbound or return, £40 per hour, up to a maximum claim of £480
- Any flight, train or boat delayed more than four hours at the point of departure £25 per hour, up to a maximum claim of £300
- Instances of hijack £30; per day, up to a maximum of £630
- Costs incurred if essential documents need to be replaced, up to a value of £1,000
Emergency Medical and Legal referral cover
- Evacuation and repatriation of cardholders
- Repatriation of dependent children if left unattended as a result of accident or injury
- Supply of essential medication or medial equipment not available locally
- A physician in the event of inadequate medical assessment
- Cash advances for any hospital admission deposit, up to maximum of £1,500
- 24-hour worldwide advise and emergency assistance
- Monitoring of hospitalised individuals by International SOS Insurance Services Ltd with updates provided to the employer and family
- Referral to legal representation for criminal or civil cases while abroad

Liability Waiver Insurance
This protects your business or organisation from cardholder misuse. It is provided on all Corporate, Purchasing, GPC Procurement and GPC T&S card schemes. For example if a cardholder uses their card for unauthorised expenses and you are unable to recover the costs.

Benefits and features
- Cover is up to £15,000 per cardholder and £1 million per annum for your business overall
- Cover is free and designed to protect you from card misuse
- If you have two or more employees, your business will be automatically covered
- Cardholders must be aged 18 years or older and must be either:
- Under a contract or apprenticeship controlled by your business, or
- Undergoing training through a government-approved scheme connected to your business
- A director under contract of service who controls no more than 5% of your business’s issued share capital

How to claim
Travel Inconvenience Cover
Call the Claims Service on 0208 762 8002.
Lines are open 9am-5pm weekdays.
Claims must be made within 30 days of the incident and all documentation must be provided to substantiate claims.

Call the International SOS Insurance Services Ltd Alarm Centre on 0208 762 8008.
Lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. You will need to provide your Corporate Charge card number as verification.
