When Crown Crest first approached Lloyds TSB in the early
1980s, the food and cosmetics wholesale and distribution
company had a turnover of £10 million and big ambitions to
grow. Their challenge to us:

The solution

We have made facilities available for Crown Crest’s acquisitions and property expansion both in the UK and overseas, as well as providing for the company’s money transmission needs.
Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets has also worked with the bank’s Financial Markets teams to make sure that Crown Crest’s property transactions are protected against adverse currency movements.
Since Crown Crest joined Lloyds TSB, they have had only three bank managers – an illustration of the continuity of service we have been able to provide.
